Celebrations at SWBBA Contest

BSB were celebrating at the Riviera Centre, Torquay after winning second place, for the second year running, at the SWBBA's contest. The band played the set piece Hollywood, written by Goff Richard's, a fun piece which evokes images of Old Time Westerns, Romances and Adventure Movies. The band was led by Dave Hayward this time, while Simon Carr took on the role of Eb bass player. The band enjoyed learning from Dave's inspirational and demanding leadership, and made a fuller and more emotive performance as a result.
