David Cameron famously followed the announcement of his imminent exit departure from his position of prime minister with a little hum, and musicians around the country were inspired to arrange the ditty for a variety of instruments. Training Band and Main Band join for Bratton Village Fete
Both the Training Band and the Main Band took a turn to play at the Bratton Village Fete on Saturday 16th July. The Main Band were delighted to have a number of Training band members join them in their set! Maybe we'll be seeing them more often from now on! There was also time to enjoy some cakes, the bottle stall, and a spot of Morris Dancing as well!


Moving WW1 Concert at Peace Memorial Hall
On July 9th, the band commemorated 100 years since the Battle of the Somme at Peace Memorial Hall, North Bradley, with a selection of English and French music from the era, interspersed with readings. Music included Saint-Saens' French Military march, Faure's Pavane and Elgar's Nimrod, along with Bouquet de Paris and the Can-Can.
